About Me

This is the official caspix blog. I shoot digital and film. I heart square crop. I love holga. I double heart polaroid.

I have had a camera in hand for years. I have worn my heart on my sleeve since I was born. I have worked in creative fields for years. I have shot live music, chefs in a kitchen for the homeless, pregnancy at dawn and Australian fashion week. I have shot 16hr weddings, witnessed broken wrists at Roller Derby, been sprayed with sweat at Muay Thai fights and documented a birth. And I loved every minute of it. Why?  Because it is all part of life, and that’s what I capture. Life and the in-between. I capture it as creatively as I can. I shoot with a documentary/editorial eye and love shooting warmth and emotion.

Photography with caspix means no cheesy duck lip kisses, awkward Charlie's Angel poses or pretend album covers. And absolutely no jumping wedding parties. Say no to cheese! and yes to the natural, fabulous and real.

I am available for commissions Australian wide and beyond and do not offer pre-packaged ad nauseum. Cross my heart.
