Hi, I’m Casandra and I live to be creative. I’m a multi-award winning professional photographer based at the beach in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. I am available for weddings and lifestyle portrait commissions around Australia and beyond.
I live to be creative and was put here to tell stories. I combine both with a camera in hand and an artist’s eye. Photography is more than just the recording of an event, it is an powerful form of communication. My work concentrates on bringing life and artistic flair to professional photography, its about letting go all preconceived notions of what you thought professional photography was, and what it can also be. Film, Holga and Lomography
I sometimes feel that the art of photography lost some of its romance in the dawn of digital times. There is something so gentle, so whimsical and elegant about film and I am very happy to include holga film and polaroid instant film with all my sessions if you wish, so please talk to me about this. There is an extra cost to cover film processing.
My aim is to push the creative boundaries every time I pick up my camera, whichever one that may be. As you can probably see, I am not your typical photographer or big studio. I see things differently and the artist inside seeks images that are emotive, organic and real. I seek to create vibrant, layered and atmospheric images most of all. I have recently been accepted as a member of the Artistic Guild Of The Wedding Photojournalist Association ([AG]WPJA). I shoot with a low key documentary style to ensure my pure visual storytelling of your day.

You are stylish, fun, a little bit cheeky, a big bit funky. You like the arts, have a bit of flair and perhaps wear your heart on your sleeve. You value artistic photography. CONTEMPORARY WEDDINGS:
My vision is to bring emotion and artistic flair to wedding photography. I shoot to capture real beauty with a low key documentary style and avoid the phoney poses and staged scenery aka ‘robo-pics’ which seem to be everywhere these days. I challenge the norm of what you know as traditional based photography and love to show that they don’t have to settle for boring prepaid packages.
I tell your story with a style that is part photojournalistic, part artistic which together will tell your whole story. From start to finish. This means being there the whole time from start to finish. Unlimited time, unlimited images, I am there for every moment. I believe all day coverage also equals peace of mind and one thing less to worry about for you. And pssst it makes the most beautiful story telling albums of all. Wedding commisions start at $2,750. LIFESTYLE PORTRAITURE:
Due to my love of photojournalism, my vision for these sessions is to tell a story of a particular event like a first fishing trip, family fishing trip, a tea party, a walk in the rock pools… rather than just hanging at a pretty location. Its a dynamic, interactive and fun way to celebrate your story. My custom portraiture starts at $500. Please contact me for more details and a price list.
