Sydney Wedding: Robert and Cherie

Italian weddings are one of my favourites to capture. Robert and Cherie’s wedding started at her family home, and there were so many people chatting, eating, speaking Italian, fussing over flowers, playing and drinking champagne. There was so much love and excitement in the house, it was amazing. People had flown from all over the world to be there and the wedding ceremony itself was in Hunters Hill. The photographs afterward were taken down at Woolwich Pier which is a special place for the bride and groom.

I also had the privilege of shooting her sister in law’s wedding about 2 years ago so it was lovely to catch up with her too. The reception was full of dancing and the speeches were so full of emotion, you could hear a pin drop during all of them, except when her Grandfather sang them a song in Italian at the end and everyone joined in! It really was the most perfect wedding. Enjoy your sneak peek and I hope you had a fabulous honey moon in Europe!
