Bubbles, bicycles and birthdays

…and bad blogger! But I have some fabulous excuses including a work trip to Brisbane for what ended up being 4 photo shoots and had such a good time. Spent some quality time with some good friends, made some new ones and shot some great images. Also had school holidays so lots of family time… and bubble blowing of course!

I have also had the birthday week long celebration of my middle son… I dont remember birthdays lasting a week when I was a kid but they definitely seem to now ;) He also decided that on his birthday, he should ride his big bike without training wheels and took off immediately without a second glance… I was so happy to be able to capture it. My mum gave him a helping hand while I shot the action.

Once he had the hang of it, like a true boy went straight to the top of the nearest hill and flew straight down with his big brother….

Sydney Indian wedding ceremony

Last Sunday was one of the most colourful weddings I have ever witnessed. I was honoured to be part of a Sydney Indian wedding ceremony and am currently going through so many colourful, happy, dancing photographs! But for now, I leave you a sneak peek of the beautiful couple just married.

(I will be in Brisbane shooting over the weekend so please feel free to send an email or text if it’s urgent. Otherwise all messages will be answered on Monday)

Kate and Brandon, married!

I was so excited about assisting my good friend Chantelle at the wedding of her client, Kate and her husband Brandon. Kate is the designer of the most amazing little girls clothing label called tea princess. My little girl owns so many gorgeous pieces, I can’t get enough of them. Kate’s wedding dress and the bridesmaids outfits on the day were completely stunning of course, and I was so excited to hear there would be 6 flowergirls! Everyone had their own dress, their own style all hand made by Kate.

I really do love second shooting on occasion as it allows me to view the wedding with a different set of eyes. I adore the unscripted moments between the big moments and had a ball chasing these images all day. The bride and groom were stunning and it was the most perfect day. Congratulations Kate and Brandon, I wish you a life time of happiness!
