photoAday – 31.01.09 [all day]

[current personal documentary project: a photo a day for the month of January]

Last day of my personal doco project for January. Thanks to everyone who have left comments and sent emails, and followed the month with me. I will be making a photo book of all the images for my family just like last year. I really enjoyed it and am also proud that I blogged every day for a month! No mean feat…. and I am now looking forward to getting back into work asap.

Today was spent at a new play centre. It was its Opening Day so they had lots of free stuff on like face painting. The kids came up with this idea today so I just went with it – although there was a weird flat light in there. May I present…

My beautiful boy is off to preschool next week. He is excited one day and scared the next, so pretty normal. After being at home with me all this time, it’s his first adventure into the big wide world. I don’t know who will miss the other more, him or me :)

First camping trip for the kids. There was a creek, a kayak, a bucket, sandy feet, beach walks, pelicans, a minor’s head torch and puddles after a big storm! They adored every minute of it.
