The Pirate and the Princess

We had a great day out on the beach recently and this little pirate was practising his sword maneuvers in the water whilst the sun was high. The princess just relaxed under the pier, collecting shells, making silly faces and lounging in the boat … I got a chance to play with Channy’s 85mm f1.2 whilst I am waiting for mine to arrive from Canon on back order (so excited!)

I so love shooting at f1.2 and tend to leave it at that for the whole session if its a fun day out :)

Sunrise at Bondi | Sydney Maternity Photographer

I photographed this gorgeous couple’s wedding at the beginning of the year and they are about to have their first baby together. They are so relaxed and love living near the beach and P surfs as often as he can. Although we weren’t sure if the sun was going to peek out much for dawn, we managed to get some fabulous light. Thank you G and P for the best shoot! It was great to spend time together. G, you look fantastic and can’t wait to meet your beautiful little baby… here is your sneak peek!

On a side note, I think no.3 has to be one of the best shots of my career, I adore it :)

The perfect age… | Sydney Portrait Photographer

This little man is the perfect age for photographs…. sitting but not yet crawling. And what a gorgeous little man he is… he was so good for the session and it was so lovely to spend time with him. We took advantage of the gorgeous jacaranda trees and the beautiful afternoon light. S and A, enjoy your sneak peek and I shall have your gallery up in a few days.

Three friends…. | Sydney Seniors Photography

We hit the water’s edge with these three gorgeous friends for a fun relaxed lifestyle shoot. For their first time, the girls did really well and loved every minute of it! The weather was wild, the wind was crazy, sun was blazing and the clouds were threatening … but we all had a great time. Girls, enjoy your sneak peek …. I think you all look amazing! I will have your slide show up in a few days.

I am looking for girls and guys aged between 15-20 for Seniors Photography (Seniors refers to those in their Senior years of school) so please forward this website and get in contact. Its such a great time in your life to get a photo shoot done, this is your chance to have more that just your boring school yearbook photo! Remember yourself exactly how you are… with your own clothes, your own style and your own gorgeous smile…

**I have had many emails asking for the technical info behind this session so will put it up here… I love to shoot in full sun with glare/flare and this was at about 3pm with sun directly behind them. Whole session was shot at f1.4 on my 24mmL**

The Divine Miss P

Look at this child! She is the most amazing little girl to look at, to speak to and to run after :) and boy did she make me run… so much energy! This is her 2nd photoshoot with me and it is so lovely to see her all grown up now. She insisted on holding my hand wherever we went and she is just the sweetest little thing…. until she decided she wanted her ‘mite’ – vegemite – so then it was a wrap ;)

Enjoy your sneak peak V and S… and will have the slideshow to you in a few days…
