Just hanging out together | Sydney Portrait Photographer

Its not often that my middle son and I just get to hang out in the sun together. He is nearly 4 years old and just the cutest little boy in the world. He will probably kill me for taking these when he is a teenager but for now, he had a ball blowing the dandelions into my hair all afternoon… I love the concentration on his face.

Ferragosto 2008 | Sydney Portrait Photographer

We live in an Italian neighbourhood and every year they have a big Italian street festival. They block the main street and feed us homemade biscuits, gelato, expresso coffee and panini and the colours were unforgettable!

They park Fiats and Alfa Romeos and the red and green colours are out in force. There were Italian bands, Italian showbags and Italians leather goods. We spent 6 hours walking up and down soaking it all in, a great day! I have kept the public a bit dark on purpose in case any of my blog stalkers are also my neighbours hehe…

I get stopped in the street all the time and asked if I am Italian and when I shake my head, the older generation sigh, shake their head and pat my arm as if I have missed out on something fantastic but ‘never mind’. I love how much they love their motherland.

We had gorgeous sun all day and of course I had to take full advantage of the flare opportunities with the fisheye ;) I think I need to have some sun flare therapy or something to tear myself away from it hah!

Introducing Photography and Website Packages | Sydney Photographer

I have just completed the photography and accompanying website for the most scrumptious client to date – The Cupcake Room. The client had a great vision and didn’t want any flounce or frosty pink as what appears to be the norm in this industry. I just love the whole sophisticated retro look. And I absolutely insist you drop by and try some…. my fav was actually the choc brownie cupcake with raspberry filling mmmm!

I was a web designer in a former life so love the combination of creating both the beautiful imagery and accompanying website. If you are interested in photography+website packages to get your business on the internet with beautiful personalised images, please contact me at caspix@mac.com for a chat or click on the investment link at the top.

A beautiful bride | Sydney Wedding Photographer

I just cannot believe how beautiful brides look on their wedding day. Every time I see it, it blows me away. The happiness radiates, the smiles glow, the shy looks, the anticipation, the emotion… it is incredible for me to record all this as part of my job, to be a part of one of the their most important days of their lives. It never ceases to stir a deep part of emotion inside me. And it can’t hurt when you are as gorgeous as this pair ;)
