The colours of an Australian wedding | Sydney Wedding Photographer

I was second shooter at a gorgeous wedding last summer… the day had so many colours it was amazing. And was a true Australian wedding in every sense of the word, relaxed, beach side, dancing, drinking and hearty laughter! The two flower girls stole the show the whole day as well, so gorgeous.

The fiestiest girl I ever did see | Sydney Portrait Photographer

It was all I could do to keep up with these two… we ran around non-stop for like 2 hours! Or they ran and I tried to catch up haha! The energy was incredible and the bond just beautiful. I was lucky enough to photograph mum’s wedding here as well. I really look forward to watching this little one grow, she certainly does love the camera and the camera loves her….

Just going through a shoot from last summer down at Bondi Beach… *sigh* i really miss summer and wish it would hurry up! This gorgeous family are now living overseas and booked a shoot so they could remember their fantastic time in Sydney. The Amazing faces of April | Sydney Portrait Photographer

This little baby was just a live wire! Non stop the whole time, always trying to roll closer to the action, chatting away. She was just divine and loved being free of clothes and waving her arms and legs around. She also had amazing sticky-up blonde hair!

The sweet Master K | Sydney Portrait Photographer

The bond between Mother and Son is so beautiful and it filled this session to the brim. They could barely take their eyes of each other to whole time, it was breathtaking. Master K was very well behaved and loved the camera, very interested in what I was doing all the time. His big brown eyes were just captivating.

Little Miss E | Sydney Portrait Photographer

Possibly the sweetest most placid baby I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Miss E was divine in every sense of the world and smiled the whole session. 9 months is the perfect age for a shoot, just sitting usually and no crawling away :) These people came all the way from the UK but hopefully I will be able to catch up again with them as their little one gets older. Thanks for a lovely session!

My first ACOCP Shoot | Sydney Portrait Photographer

Last night was my first shoot with the ACOCP – Australian Community of Child Photographers – and it was a truly touching experience. I am so honoured to have been able to share a tiny part of the sad journey with the most incredible family. Even though this little baby had passed away, was still such a presence in that room and there was so much love that I was in awe.

It really drove home what the whole organisation is about and why we are trying so hard for everyone to find out about our service and how much good we can do for people.

Please check out their website here or their blog here and spread the word!

“ACOCP is an Australian community organisation giving the gift of photographic memories to children in need and their families. We specialise in giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have had a stillbirth, premature baby, infant in the NICU or child with serious or terminal illnesses. Participating photographers will come to the hospital or your home at a time convenient to you and will help supply you with cherished photographic memories. There will be no charge for this service.

Some of us have already been touched by infant loss and appreciate the importance of this gift – its just a way to give back to a wonderful community that we are part of.”

Trash the Dress Sessions | Sydney Wedding Photographer

Have you thought about booking a trash the dress session after your wedding and enjoy that dress more that you ever thought possible! You can roll in the ocean, run through a field or climb a tree – do anything that has never been done before in a wedding dress – and create the most memorable, spectacular photo shoot of your life! And it also means you get to wear it for one more day…. with no pressure, no crowds or stress. Dresses can be slightly trashed – a dry clean will have them good as new – or totally trashed, it’s your call.

Or you could dry clean it, pack it in plastic and put it in the cupboard for 30 years? Up to you ;)

Look at that gorgeous light coming through her dress…

This field had the most gorgeous afternoon winter sun filtering through…

How loved up do these two look? just so natural in front of the lens

and finish with a bit of grrrr…!
