Caspix is a professional photographer based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. This is my blog and you will find my professional work, mingled with copious amounts of personal work including digital, holga, polaroid and Instax film.

I live to be creative and was put here to tell stories. I combine both with a camera in hand and an artist's eye. My digital work concentrates on bringing life and artistic flair to wedding photography and a pinch or three of commercial and lifestyle work. My sessions also explore the beauty of film with holgas, toy cameras and polaroids so talk to me about this. My aim is to push the creative boundaries every time I pick up my camera, whichever one that may be. When I'm not shooting, blogging, tweeting or snapping, then you will find me hanging out with my beautiful brood at home.

I am also proud to announce that I have been accepted as a member of the Artistic
Guild Of The Wedding Photojournalist Association.

This is a blog site so you can seach by category or folio in the above links.

Sydney Engagement Photography

Firstly apologies for my blogging absence, I have received quite a few emails wondering where I am! I am moving house, to Sydney’s Eastern suburbs so its a bit chaotic here. I have at least 8 sessions I need to blog and I know K&B are dying to see their shoot so here it is!

As soon as I met this couple, I knew we were on the same page with our vision. It is so exciting for me to meet a couple that love my work and are up for anything. They bought some fabulous props for us to play with for their ‘Save the Date’ cards and don’t you just love her dress and flower! The forest where we were shooting was amazing as well. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding, which promises to be filled with so many beautiful details.

Personal Work: Photo a Day. #39
(Every summer holidays, I complete a personal project of a Photo a Day. Its about us, simple moments bound into an Art Book so we never forget. Just for us.)

Camping before school goes back. Couldn’t sleep so was up early. There were no clocks so I don’t know the exact time. But it was so early that the light was blue.

There is nothing so fabulous as Melbourne back streets. And Melbourne kicks ass with their lattes too. Does anyone want to fly down for a Melbourne back street shoot? Go on, I dare you!

Haircuts for school. We go to a proper Italian barber and the boys love it. Reminds me of Italy. There are always caps on the hat stand, half drunk espresso shots, men shouting hello in Italian as they pass by and the Italian newspapers that the kids try and decipher as we wait our turn.

Someone’s tooth is loose. Someone also hates the camera. I pleaded my case that it was important to put it our album so he gave me 0.02 seconds. I got lucky!
